To be honest, No. Though there are several facets of who I am that may reflect the African Diaspora in all of its glory, I don’t think that I could call myself Afrocentric just based on the fact that I was born in America. I think I’d need A LOT of deprogramming before I could claim that title. My foundation is still western-centered.
